June 7, 1969. This was the final competition of the Festival of Sounds and the culmination of our rehearsals, hopes and hard work of the previous eight months. There was an entire contingent of friends and fans from Camarillo who came to Knott’s Berry Farm that day to support us as we gave the very best, most professional performance we could. I would have to say that (to me) it was also the high point of the whole Today Generation experience. The story unfolds in the newspaper articles and photos that follow.
